Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, when we remember the 6 million Jews murdered by the Nazis.
In the wake of Hamas’s terrorist attacks in Israel on 7 October, the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust, and the subsequent wave of antisemitism, we remind ourselves that anti-Jewish racism did not begin nor end with the Holocaust.
Earlier this week I signed the Holocaust Educational Trust Book of Commitment, to honour the millions of lives lost and to pledge my continued support to fight antisemitism.
