As we've been enjoying the wonderful weather, Westminster has been in full swing, working to deliver on our promises to you.
Monday was, as you'd imagine, dominated by the Privileges Debate on former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
As a Parliamentary Private Secretary, I was on duty for the middle section of the debate, supporting Leader of the House Penny Mordaunt.
As has been the case on previous Privileges and Standards votes, I chose to abstain.
I have serious concerns about the system used to judge MPs accused of serious misbehaviour. This is not a judgement on the report compiled by the Committee, nor on its Members who worked within the system they had available to them.
Mr Johnson is no longer in Parliament so any sanction Parliament endorses is merely symbolic. The COVID enquiry will ultimately arrive at a comprehensive position on what really happened and who knew what, when.
Monday also saw the raising of the Armed Forces Day flag in Parliament to mark Armed Forces Week and I joined others in marking the occasion.
I also had a meeting with Manchester University's Nuclear Department discussing how we get more high paid nuclear apprenticeships in Heywood and Middleton.
On Tuesday, I spent most of the day on the Energy Bill Committee, scrutinising the legislation line by line before it goes back to Parliament for further debate.
I also had a catch-up with Rochdale AFC about their plans to give fans more say in the club and pledged to work with them.
I also had a meeting with representatives of Hospices to talk about the support they give to young people with terminal conditions.
In the evening I met with representatives of ITV at their summer reception and talked about how they can better invest in regional content.
On Wednesday I met with representatives of the logistics sector to talk about their new initiatives to support night shift workers.
I met with Reservists as part of Armed Forces Week to thank them for their work and hear about their experiences.
Thursday was once again the Bill Committee before heading back North to catch up on constituency work this weekend.
We're due another warm week, so remember to take precautions and stay hydrated and have a fantastic week.
