Following the statement made earlier by the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock we know that the whole of Greater Manchester will move into Tier 4 from 00:01 on New Year's Eve.
I am hopeful that today's news of the approval of the Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine, the continued rollout of the Pfizer/Biotech vaccine, and the introduction of the new vaccination centre in Heywood yesterday, will mean that these restrictions will not have to be in place for long.
