As Westminster returns to "normal" its been good to get back into the swing of things.
This week I've filled my diary with meetings based on what you're saying is important to you.
To that end, this week I met with the Child Brian Injury Trust about their GloWeek campaign, which encourages young people to wear visible clothing as the days get shorter.
I also met with Dogs' Trust about their fireworks campaign and how I could support them in their work.
I also had a really productive sit down with the team from the Guinness Trust who are responsible for some of the social housing in our area. We talked about their plans, what's working well and what needs a bit more work.
Finally before heading back up North this week, I got my legs out to participate in the Royal British Legion's poppy ride, managing a respectable 3.66km in 5 minutes.
Back home, I had meetings with Roxtec in Heywood to see the work they're doing to deliver HS2 and a number of other major infrastructure projects and had a great meeting with Rochdale Training to discuss how we can get more people locally into exciting apprenticeship opportunities.
Another full week ahead in London before coming home for Remembrance Sunday. Stay safe and see you next week!
