Whilst the focus of the week has once again been the question of who will be our new Prime Minister, I've been making sure that the day to day work of my office goes on regardless.
That's included questions about housing, the environment, the cost of living and people just struggling to get a response from their local Councillors.
In Westminster I started the week by asking the Energy Minister about research and innovation - as we transition to new, cleaner energy sources I want British business to be at the forefront. We've been too dependent on foreign supply for too long and now we have an opportunity to become a world leader and create jobs at the same time.
Also this week my team were involved in the Money Max roadshow in Rochdale, following on from our meeting with the DWP. The cost of living is at the forefront of everyone's minds at the moment, so anything we can do to help, we will.
On Wednesday I joined my colleague Dr Luke Evans for a meeting on his body image pledge which a large number of you have written to me about. Luke's campaign encourages businesses and the media not to alter images, perpetuating unrealistic images of beauty and health. These images can lead to menal and physical health problems for vulnerable people and lead to the false impression that some people are inherently "better" than others.
A lot of you also wrote to me about Arthritis care too, so it was a pleasure to meet with the team at Versus Arthritis to learn about what support is on offer for people living with the condition.
Later in the week I also met with the Food and Drink Federation - there are several affiliated businesses in the Heywood and Middleton constituency so it was really encouraging to hear what they're doing to protect jobs and help with the cost of living.
Later in the week I participated in discussions about women in politics and preventing sexual violence in conflict and was proud to be re-elected as an officer of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Veterans.
Next week is the last before Summer Recess (and a few well needed days off!) - but I dare say it'll be a busy one.
The weather forecast is for very hot temperatures, so please be safe and make sure to check in on anyone you know who is vulnerable.
