I met with the Transport Secretary last week to discuss the £18 million of Government funding to Greater Manchester to protect vital transport services.
It's clear that the current situation could've been alleviated by better management from the Mayor and his team. I'm glad the DfT stepped in to provide funding to ensure the City Region has a properly functioning public transport network.
