I was delighted to hear that yesterday, on its first day of operation, the new covid-19 vaccination centre in Heywood treated 350 local people. Great news for people here and along with today's news about the Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine it means that we will be able to get more people treated faster.
I have been contacted by a number of people who have asked how they can get the vaccine. Please note that this is not drop-in service. GPs will be contacting people to arrange appointment times.
